1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. quick uncooked oats 1 c. milk GLAZE: 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 3 tbsp. orange juice Cream butter well. Add sugar and beat. Beat eggs in one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and blend. Mix in oats. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Begin and end with dry ingredients. Bake in a greased and floured 8 inch pan for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread with glaze. |
