1 c. butter 2 1/4 c. sugar 3 eggs 7 1/2 tbsp. milk 1 1/2 tsp. soda 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas 3 c. plain flour 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add milk and soda to bananas; add alternately with flour to creamed mixture. Add nuts. Pour into 3 greased and floured pans. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. CARAMEL FROSTING: 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. milk 2 c. powdered sugar Combine brown sugar and butter; cook for 2 minutes. Add milk and let stand until lukewarm. Add powdered sugar. Frost cake. |
