OREO COOKIE CAKE
 

1 lb. Oreo cookies
1 c. butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 (8 oz.) containers whipped topping
1 c. powdered sugar
1 lg. pack of instant chocolate pudding

Crush Oreo cookies and set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup. Mix crumbs with butter and press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Mix cream cheese, sugar, 1 carton of whipped topping. Spread over cookie crust. Refrigerate 1 hour. Prepare pudding mix by directions on package and spread over the cheese mixture. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with rest of whipped topping. Sprinkle with the 1/2 cup reserved cookie crumbs. Garnish with Maraschino cherries.
