Combine eggs and milk. Beat well. Sift together dry ingredients into bowl. Blend in egg and milk mixture.
Heat 2-4 cups of cooking oil in deep fat fryer or electric skillet to 375 degrees.
Put 1/2 cup of batter in 4 inches kitchen funnel and make small circles into hot oil. Turn when brown. Drain on paper towel, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 6-8 cakes.
