SWEDISH PINEAPPLE CAKE
 

CAKE:

2 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Mix in order by hand sugar, pineapple, soda, vanilla, flour and nuts. Pour into ungreased unfloured 13x9 cake pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely before frosting.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
1 stick butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and cream cheese; add butter and nuts.

NOTICE: There are no eggs or oil used in the cake. For fewer calories, use lite butter and lite cream cheese. Tastes wonderful and is so easy.
