2 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. butter 2 eggs, well beaten 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sugar Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla, then add dry ingredients. Roll out on a slightly floured board. Cut with medium cookie cutter. Bake in a moderate oven at 375 degrees until browned. Makes about 2 dozen tea cakes. |
