CHEESE SAUCE (GREAT FOR BAKED
POTATOES)

3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sifted flour
1 c. milk
1 cup (more or less) Cheddar cheese cubes

In a pot, add three tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add 1 cup of milk. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of flour. (Give it a little time to thicken slightly before adding the cheese cubes.)

Add the Cheddar and cook over very low heat to melt the cheese, stirring occasionally to prevent ingredients from burning on the bottom of the pan.

Sauce should be thick and creamy in consistency.

Variations: This recipe may also be cooked in the microwave. Other kinds of cheese can be used in place of the Cheddar. Basically any amount of cheese can be used, depending upon how cheesy you want it to be.
