Fry up the hamburger in a pan. Dice up onion. In a large mixing bowl, add the can of chili, chiles, enchilada sauce, onion and 1 1/2 cups of the cheese. Mix together and stir hamburger into the mixture. Crumble 3/4 of the bag of chips and put into the mixture.
Mix again and transfer into a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Crumble the remaining of chips and sprinkle over the top; sprinkle with the rest of the cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
