CIDER BAKED ACORN SQUASH
 

2 med. acorn squash
1/2 c. apple cider
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. mace (optional)

Slice squash in 1 inch circles and remove seeds. Place squash in 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Pour cider over squash.

Combine all the rest of the ingredients and sprinkle on top of squash. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until squash is tender. Serves 6.
