1 can green butter beans 2 bouillon cubes, beef 1 med. onion, chopped Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. bacon drippings 1/2 c. mild cheese, cut in thin slices 1/2 c. chopped pecans Bread crumbs Butter Drain beans and reserve liquid. Dissolve bouillon cubes in the reserved heated liquid. Add onion, Worcestershire and bacon drippings. Butter a 1 quart casserole. Layer of beans, cheese and pecans. Repeat. Pour onion mixture over each layer. Cover with crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. |
