1 can butter beans 1 med. onion 1 green pepper, chopped Cheddar cheese, cut into cubes Bacon strips Cook butter beans until well done. Pour the soup off. Butter a pan or bowl; put a layer of beans, then a layer of onion and pepper with cheese added. Then layer the beans, and onions and peppers with cheese again. Place strips of bacon on top. Bake slowly for 1/2 hour. |
