1 1/2 lb. fresh brussels sprouts or 2 (8 oz.) pkg. frozen sprouts 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/4 c. butter 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese Heat 1 inch salted water (1/2 teaspoon salt to 1 cup water) to boiling. Add brussels sprouts. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and cook until tender, 8-10 minutes; drain. Cook and stir onion in butter until tender. Pour over brussels sprouts; sprinkle with cheese. |
