FREEZING CORN
 

4 qt. corn, cut off cob
1 qt. water
1 c. sugar
4 heaping tsp. salt

Put in large kettle and boil lightly for 10 minutes. Cool in liquid until cold. Put in freezer bags (pints or quarts) and freeze. Do not drain. It will cool faster if you pour it into flat pans such as roaster pans. Also, I use the zip lock bags. They don't leak. To eat, just heat slowly until completely thawed. Add a little butter and it's ready.
