4 lg. peppers 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 c. cooked rice Salt and pepper to taste 1 lb. ground beef 2/3 c. grated cheese 1/4 tsp. garlic salt Boil peppers for 15 minutes; drain. Cook meat and drain off grease. Stir in tomato sauce, cheese, seasonings, and rice. Simmer, stirring, until cheese is melted. Spoon into peppers. These freeze well. |
