OVEN FRENCH FRIES
 

Peel and cut into French-fry size:

Remove all excess moisture and place the potatoes in a medium size bowl. Sprinkle with:

Toss potatoes to get oiled thoroughly and spread on cookie sheet and place in hot oven (475 - 500 degrees) for 35 minutes. Turn the potatoes so they will brown evenly on both sides. For added browning place under broiler 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle with salt if desired. One serving equals: Oil - 1 teaspoon, Protein - 2 grams, Cholesterol - 0 milligrams, Carbohydrate - 14 grams, Saturated fat - 1 gram, Calories - 110, Linoleric acid - 3 grams.
