ROAST CORN ON THE COB

Fresh ears of corn
LARGE container of water
Hot coals (wood or charcoal)
Butter
Salt

Soak all ears of corn without removing the husk for at least 30 minutes. Place wet corn onto hot coals. Turn them often to blacken the outside layers of husk. Remove from heat. Peel back the husk but do not remove. Using the husk for a handle, dip the ear of corn into melted butter or roll it onto a stick of butter. Sprinkle with salt and eat.
