3 tbsp. butter 6 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 c. milk 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. grated onion 2 #2 cans hominy 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs 1/2 lb. grated American cheese Melt butter. Add flour and seasoning; blend. Add milk and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add Worcestershire sauce, onion and cheese. Place drained hominy in a 1 1/2 quart casserole (well greased). Pour over the cheese sauce. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
