2 pt. strawberries or 4 c. frozen ones 1 1/2 c. warm water 3/4 c. dry white wine 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. buttermilk Almond slivers or fresh mint to garnish Simmer first 4 ingredients. LET COOL. Place mixture in blender and blend at low speed. Add buttermilk before serving. (Optional: to thicken soup; add crushed strawberries before serving soup.) |
