1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in small chunks 1 lg. onion, chopped 3 lg. potatoes, pared and diced 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. basil 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 c. water 16 oz. can cream style corn 16 oz. can whole kernel corn 13 oz. can evaporated milk Brown sausage in large skillet or Dutch oven, using a little butter if needed. Add onion and saute for a few minutes without browning. Add potatoes, salt, basil, parsley, pepper and water. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in both cans of corn and evaporated milk. Heat just to boiling point. |
