GARDEN GREEN BEAN SOUP

Green beans or yellow beans
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. bacon, chopped & fried
4-5 potatoes, chopped
2-3 tbsp. chicken bouillon to taste
Parsley to taste
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. milk (or less)

Pick the beans from your garden. Add good size mess as many as you need. Cut beans, rinse and drain. Cut bacon in bite-size pieces, fry and drain. Cut potatoes in small pieces. Cook cut beans and potatoes in large pot. Cover with water. Add chopped onion, bacon, bouillon, parsley, salt and pepper.

After mess has cooked 1/2 to 45 minutes, let simmer and add milk; maybe 1/2 cup (just enough to make broth white). Enjoy!

Hint: I cut my bacon with kitchen scissors.
