BEAN SOUP IN CROCKPOT
 

1/2 lb. dry beans (any kind)
4 cups water
2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz. each)
salt and pepper, to taste
2 medium potatoes, diced
2 carrots, shredded
2 small onions, diced
ham, diced

Pick over beans discarding broken and discolored beans. Wash well in cold running water.

Soak beans overnight in enough water to cover as they swell, replacing water as needed to keep beans covered. Do not add salt to soaking water. Drain beans.

Put all ingredients in Crock-Pot. Stir well. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
