BROCCOLI CHOWDER
 

1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon, instant
1 pound processed American cheese, cubed
4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
10 ounces broccoli, frozen, cooked

Saute onion in butter in saucepan until tender. Sprinkle with flour.

Stir in bouillon dissolved in 2 cups hot water. Cook until smooth and thick stirring constantly. Add cheese stirring until melted. Stir in milk gradually. Add seasonings and broccoli with cooking liquid mixing well.

Note: Prepare everything ahead of cooking time.

Serving Size: 6
