COOKED SHRIMP
 

1 qt. water
1/2 stalk sliced celery
1 sliced carrot
1 sm. white sliced onion
Juice of half of lemon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. shrimp

Boil all ingredients except shrimp for 15 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer, covered 2 to 5 minutes or until they turn pink. Drain; cool; shell and devein. Refrigerate until serving time.
