1 clove garlic 1 head lettuce 1-2 c. cooked ham, in strips 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese in strips 1 c. cooked chicken (or canned) in strips 1 avocado, sliced 1 1/4 lb. asparagus, cooked drained & chilled 2 c. cooked peas, chilled 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges 1 bunch radishes 3-4 boiled eggs (can be deviled eggs) Salt & pepper 1. Rub large salad bowl with cut clove of garlic and line the bowl with lettuce. 2. Toss or arrange ingredients in bowl. Salt and pepper. OPTIONAL: Blue Cheese Salad Dressing: 2 tbsp. blue cheese 1/2 c. mayonnaise 4 tsp. milk Few drops Tabasco sauce Crumble blue cheese through sieve. Mix with other ingredients. Makes about 2/3 cup.
