JANET'S MEXICAN LAYERED SURPRISE SALAD
 

1 can refried beans
3-4 lg. avocados
3 tbsp. picante sauce
3 tomatoes, chopped
1 lb. cheese, grated
2 c. chopped onion
1 lg. pkg. sour cream
Nacho chips
2 c. shredded lettuce (optional)

In a shallow dish spread 1 can of beans. Mash avocados with fork and add picante sauce. Spread over beans. Add chopped tomatoes, onions, grated cheese. Spread sour cream over top and sprinkle with cheese. Serve with nacho chips. Optional - may put shredded lettuce on before sour cream.
