1/2 head lettuce, broken up 1 bunch Romaine lettuce, broken up 1 pt. strawberries, washed and sliced 1 red onion, sliced 1/4 c. sliced almonds, browned in oven with 2 tsp. sugar DRESSING: 1/2 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. milk or Half and Half 1 1/2 tbsp. sour cream 2 tbsp. poppy seeds Blend dressing ingredients in blender, food processor, or with mixer. Toss together just before serving. |
