10 HOUR LAYER SALAD
 

1 head lettuce, torn apart
1 c. celery, diced
6 hard boiled eggs, diced
10 oz. pkg. frozen peas
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. cucumber, diced
1 - 1 1/2 c. carrots or broccoli or cauliflower
10 slices bacon, fried & cut up
1 med. onion, diced
2 c. mayonnaise, sweetened with 2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Use 9"x12" pan. Put vegetables in layers as listed. Spread mayonnaise over salad. Prepare 10 hours in advance or early in day before serving.
