SUMMER TOMATO-ONION SALAD
 

2 lg. mild onions, sliced thin
2 lg. tomatoes, sliced

Alternate slices of onion and tomatoes in salad bowl. Sprinkle with salt. Pour vinegar and oil dressing over tomatoes. Chill.

VINEGAR AND OIL DRESSING:

1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 hard cooked egg, diced
Dash of garlic salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. salad vinegar or flavored vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil

Mix all ingredients well. Pour over salad and chill.
