1 pkg. orange Jello
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
3 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
(Any other fruit may be added) Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Chill. When set, add marshmallows, pineapple, mandarin, bananas and any other fruits. When set top with frosting. Pour in square pan. FROSTING FOR FRUIT SALAD DELIGHT: 1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
Pinch salt
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped Mix first 6 ingredients and cook until thick; when cool fold in Dream Whip; spread on salad after it has set; sprinkle with chopped nuts; cut in squares. Top each square with nuts, cherries (red or green). Serve on lettuce. |
