In layers in large glass bowl, put: 1 (1 lb.) bag spinach Sprinkle of salt and pepper 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled 6 eggs, hard-boiled and chopped 1 head lettuce Salt and pepper 1 tsp. sugar 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed but not cooked 1 red onion, thinly sliced 1 pkg. Swiss cheese, top in julienne strips TOPPING: Mix 1 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup sour cream. When ready to serve salad, place topping on top of salad. Mix together after company sees the layered salad! |
