JUDY'S JELLO SALAD
 

1 lg or 2 sm. box lime Jello
1 can (17 oz.) fruit cocktail
1 c. cottage cheese, small curd
3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Water

For low calories, use sugar-free Jello, juice pack fruit, lowfat cottage cheese and imitation mayonnaise.

Drain fruit cocktail, saving the liquid. Add enough water to the liquid to equal 2 cups. Heat to boiling. Add Jello, stirring to dissolve. Refrigerate until partially congealed.

Whip with electric mixer until airy. Beat in mayonnaise, followed by cottage cheese. Fold in fruit. Fill standard size salad mold and refrigerate until firm.
