1 c. leftover rice 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 c. milk 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Combine rice, sugar, butter, salt, flavoring and nutmeg into 1-quart baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring after 15 minutes and again when pudding is done. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Place in broiler a few minutes to brown. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 6 servings. |
