Try these great recipes featuring Minute® Rice

PORCUPINE MEATBALLS
 

1 tbsp. butter
1 small onion, chopped
1 lb. lean ground beef *
1 cup MINUTE® White Rice, uncooked
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 small packet meatloaf seasoning
1/4 cup water
1 jar (15-1/2 oz. or larger) spaghetti sauce

Melt butter in small skillet on medium high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender.

Add onions to meat, rice, egg and seasoning packet in large bowl. Add 1/4 cup water; mix until well blended. Shape into medium-size meatballs.

Pour spaghetti sauce skillet. Bring to boil; add meatballs. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.

Serving Suggestion: Round out each serving with 1/2 cup hot cooked rice and a serving of your kids favorite vegetables.

* May substitute ground turkey.

Makes 5 servings.
