3 c. cooked wild rice 1 c. fresh bread crumbs 1/2 c. raisins 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. fresh apple chunks 1/2 c. melted butter 1/4 c. orange juice Combine all of the ingredients. Place the stuffing into the fowl to be cooked, or bake in a covered casserole in a preheated 325 degree oven for about 90 minutes. Makes 5 cups stuffing. The stuffing can be used for about 8 Cornish hens or a 10 pound turkey. Or bake it in a casserole dish and serve with roast goose, duck or game. |
