1 lb. ground beef Chopped onion Chopped green pepper 1 qt. canned tomatoes 8 oz. can tomato sauce 2 c. elbow macaroni 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Brown meat and drain. Add onion and pepper; cook. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil then simmer, covered, until macaroni is done, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooking. |
