24 cooked meatballs 1 (15 oz.) can Great Northern beans 1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon granules 1 tbsp. minced dried onion 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed 1 lg. bay leaf 3 oz. spaghetti, uncooked, broken into 2" lengths 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up 1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained 1 tsp. sugar Grated Parmesan cheese In 4 quart Dutch oven, combine meatballs, undrained beans, bouillon granules, onion, basil, bay leaf and 4 cups water. Bring to boiling. Add spaghetti. Cover; simmer about 20 minutes or until meatballs are heated through. Stir in undrained tomatoes, mixed vegetables and sugar. Heat through. Remove bay leaf. Sprinkle individual servings with Parmesan cheese. Makes 8 servings. |
