Cream: 1 c. sugar Add: 2 c. flour 1 tsp. soda 2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. raisins Mix together; pour into a greased 9x13 pan. SAUCE: 3 1/2 c. boiling water 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 4 tbsp. butter Pour over cake batter and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. This can be served hot or cold. If served cold, whipped cream can be used as a topping. |
