AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD
 

DO NOT USE A METAL SPOON. USE A WOODEN SPOON. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. USE PLAIN FLOUR. USE GLASS OR PLASTIC CONTAINER AND LID.

START UP:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

(When giving Start Up juice, your receiver will stir on day one, not add these ingredients. They will add on day five.) Day 2, 3, 4, stir with wooden spoon. Day 5: Add the following, stirring with wooden spoon:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk

Day 6, 7, 8, 9: Stir well with wooden spoon. Day 10: Add 1 cup each:

Flour
Sugar
Milk

Stir well. Pour 2 cups of mixture into 3 containers and give 2 away. (This should be 2/3 cup per container.) To remaining mixture add:

3/4 c. oil
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. nuts
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 banana, mashed (optional)
1 apple, chopped (optional)
1/2 c. sugar (optional)

Add 1 box of instant vanilla pudding (you may add a different flavor to change it.) Mix well. Pour into well greased and sugared loaf pans (2). Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
