1 fresh baguette, sliced thinly on the bias 1/2 c. extra-light olive oil 2 tbsp. garlic 2 tbsp. dried basil Kosher salt Saute the garlic and basil in the oil for at least 10 minutes. Dip each piece of the bread into the oil mixture and place on a large cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10-15 minutes, until lightly toasted. Remove form the oven and immediately sprinkle each piece with the salt. Serve warm or at room temperature. |
