BUTTER BISCUITS TO FREEZE
 

4 c. Pioneer biscuit mix
1 heaping tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. melted butter, cooled
1 1/2 c. milk

In large bowl, place biscuit mix, sugar, salt, cream of tartar and baking powder. Add butter to center of mixture and pour milk around it. Mix dough thoroughly with floured hands. Roll mixture into little balls and pat into place on a cookie sheet. Freeze until hard. Place biscuits into plastic bags and return to freezer until needed. Bake 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 50 little bite-sized biscuits.

Note: You may bake before freezing, if desired.
