1 c. brown sugar, packed 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1 c. mashed bananas 2 c. all-purpose flour 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Mix in nuts, spoon into 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour, or until bread tests done. Cool on rack. Makes one loaf. |
