NUT FILLED CRESCENTS
 

2 c. flour
2 sticks butter (cholesterol free)
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese

Mix ingredients well with pastry blender, then roll small amounts of dough on floured dough board.

WALNUT INGREDIENTS:

1 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 grated lemon rind
1 lg. egg white, beaten to a peak, add to walnut mix

Add mix on to dough which has been cut into squares. One teaspoon per square. Roll squares as for crescents. Brush crescents with eggs slightly beaten. Bake crescents for 15 to 20 minutes at temperature set at 375 degrees. Substitute apricot filling onto each square if desired.
