1 to 2 lb. grated cheese, approx. (Jack or cheddar) 1/2 stick butter, softened Approx. 1/2 c. mayonnaise Garlic (powder or in jar) Parmesan cheese Sourdough bread or rolls Mix cheese, butter, mayonnaise and garlic until spreadable consistency. All measurements can be increased or decreased to make desired consistency. (Also can add chopped green onions, black or green olives and/or sausage.) Spread on bread and broil or bake until cheese is melted and golden brown. |
