CHEESE ONION CORNBREAD
 

1 tsp. dried minced onion
1 (15 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
1 1/4 c. water
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream style corn
Couple drops hot pepper sauce
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed

Place onion in 1 teaspoon water and let stand 5 minutes. In medium bowl combine cornbread mix, water, corn and pepper sauce. Spread in greased 13"x9" baking dish. In medium bowl stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in onion, 1/2 cup cheese and dill weed. Spoon over batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until top is golden. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand 30 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings.
