1 c. All Bran cereal 1 c. Shredded Wheat cereal 1 c. Quaker Oats 1 c. warm water 1 c. shortening 3 c. sugar 4 eggs 5 c. flour 5 tsp. baking soda 1 qt. buttermilk Mix cereals with warm water and set aside. Cream together shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add to cereal; combine remaining ingredients. Mix in large container and store in refrigerator (batter may be used immediately or stored for weeks). Spoon into cupcake papers. You can add diced fruit (raisins, apples, bananas, blueberries, etc.). If film forms on batter, just stir. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. |
