4 c. cornmeal, white 1 1/2 c. rice 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder Mix cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and cooked rice with water that the rice was cooked with. Put into a crock or bowl to set overnight in summer time. Two days in winter time. Mix a little flour to sour mixture and cook it like pancakes in hot grease. |
