1 c. cornmeal 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. melted butter 4 eggs, separated 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Combine egg yolks, milk, vanilla and melted butter. Stir into dry ingredients. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Bake in 13 x 9 inch greased pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Do not overbake. |
