YEAST BREAD
 

Mix together and set aside: 2 c. flour 2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar

Then mix well and add to yeast mixture: 1/4 c. oil 1/2 c. flour 1 egg

Add 3 additional cups of flour and mix well. Cover bowl with towel and let rise in warm place for 2 hours. Reshape into desired greased baking pan, cover and let rise again for 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees until brown and when bread sounds hollow when thumped.
