MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine pasta, contents of seasoning packet, and 1 1/3 cups hot water in microwaveable tray. Add onions, mushrooms, celery seed, and butter. Stir. Microwave, uncovered at High 5 minutes; stir gently. Continue microwaving at High 5 to 6 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened and pasta is tender. Stir. Let stand 2 minutes for sauce to thicken. Makes two 1/2 cup servings, (recipe can be doubled).
For richer taste, add 1 tablespoon butter. Cold water or at high altitude: cook a total of 11 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. NOTE: compact microwaves at high altitude: Cook a total 16 minutes, stirring after 5 minutes. (FOR MICROWAVE USE ONLY.)
Prepare microwave Noodle Roni as above. Place frozen vegetables in small microwaveable bowl. Microwave covered at HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through; drain. Stir vegetables and meat into prepared noodles immediately after cooking. Refrigerate unused portion.
MEAT CHOICES: 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken or turkey, or 1/2 cup chopped cooked ham.
VEGETABLE CHOICES: 3/4 cup frozen mixed vegetables, or 3/4 cup frozen cut green beans, or 3/4 cup broccoli.
