3 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. mustard 1 tsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. lemon juice 1/2 c. catsup 1 (2 1/2 - 3 lb.) frying chicken, cut in half Salt & pepper to taste Mix all ingredients except chicken, salt and pepper. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Simmer, covered for 15 minutes. Salt and pepper chicken and place on aluminum foil. Pour sauce over chicken and wrap tightly. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Open foil and fold back. Broil chicken until browned. Remove from foil and serve with sauce. |
